Mumbai Police files FIR against Munawar Faruqui’s fan for illegal drone usage in Dongri during the Bigg Boss 17 victory celebration

Munawar Faruqui is making headlines ever since he lifted the Bigg Boss 17 trophy. The comedian and rapper received a grand welcome in Dongri with thousands of people gathering there to celebrate his victory. However, according to a report by Free Press Journal, A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against a drone camera operator, who was recording the Bigg Boss 17 victory celebration of Munawar Faruqui. The Bigg Boss 17 fame had also bought his coveted trophy as he stood on the sunroof of his car.

The report suggests that, Munawar Faruqui's fan, identified as Arbaaz Yusuf Khan (26), was first noticed by constable Nitin Shinde, on patrol with PSI Tausif Mulla. The cops reportedly informed the police station after approaching the drone operator. It was then discovered that the operator had not seeked permission for using drone during the celebration in Mumbai's Dongri.


It is also reported that the drone camera was confiscated by the police. An FIR has now been filed for violating the Mumbai Police Commissioner's orders regarding drone usage, which requires prior permission. Earlier, the cops had issued a ban on flying objects, including drone cameras keeping public safety in mind. Netizens reacted to the same on social media.


Munawar Faruqui lifted the Bigg Boss 17 on Januray 28. Munawar and Abhishek were the top two contestants of the controversial reality show and it was a tough fight between the two of them. Mannara Chopra was the second runner up of the show and Ankita Lokhande took the fourth position. The grand finale was hosted by Salman Khan with many popular celebs joining the event.


The finalists of the show are celebrating their victories with their loved ones and have been sharing pictures and videos of it on social media.
