Anvitha Sagar joins the cast of daily soap 'Anna Thangi'; replaces actress Chayashree

Having won the hearts of the viewers with her on-screen character Adhya from the daily soap Gattimela, actress Anvitha Sagar has bagged a new project. The actress is the latest celeb to join the cast of Anna Thangi.

Anvitha, who is currently seen in the daily soap Gattimela has a new project for her kitty. She has been roped in to essay a pivotal role in the daily soap Anna Thangi. Anvitha will be seen playing the character 'Jyothi', who is the wife of the protagonist, Shivraju. The actress has replaced Chayashree, who quit the show recently owing to personal reasons.

The actress has confirmed the same on her official Instagram handle. "Technically my 5th serial: Anna Tangi. Bless Support and Shower all the love that you guys did till today" wrote the actress on Instagram as she announced the news of making an entry to the show Anna Thangi.

Meanwhile, Anvitha's entry in Anna Thangi as Jyothi is likely to introduce major tweaks and turns in the show. She is set to play a vamp in the show.

According to the storyline, Shivraju gets married to Jyothi unaware of the fact that the latter has a hidden agenda of destroying the family. Jyothi vows to create misunderstands in Shivraju's family and spoil the bond and love between the family members.

The story of Anna Thangi revolves around Tulasi and Shivaraju, who are siblings. Since they lose their parents at a very young age, Shivaraju raises his sister with love and dreams. He aims to get her married into a big family where she can get a loving father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. But Tulasi doesn’t want to get married as his brother has to live alone.
