The 7th edition of Exercise DUSTLIK 2026 between India and Uzbekistan wrapped up successfully in Namangan, marking the end of a rigorous two-week joint training programme. Designed to strengthen interoperability, the exercise saw troops engage in complex operations across semi-mountainous terrain. Activities ranged from tactical drills and special arms training to integrated mission rehearsals involving reconnaissance, airborne tasks, surveillance, and helicopter firing. A unified Command and Control Centre enabled smooth coordination, while drone-based monitoring and repeated validations enhanced operational readiness. The closing ceremony and Commanders’ Dinner reflected deepening defence cooperation, shared professionalism, and growing strategic ties between the Indian and Uzbek armed forces.
