IZ*ONE's Kwon Eun Bi to debut with Japanese version of 'Stolen Identity 3'

Kwon Eun Bi, the former member of IZ*ONE, is set to make her acting debut in the Japanese version of the hit film series ‘Unlocked.’ Woollim Entertainment made the official announcement on December 8, revealing that Kwon Eun Bi will be playing the lead role in the upcoming Japanese movie titled ‘Stolen Identity 3.’


The Korean film ‘Unlocked', based on a Japanese novel with the same title, featured Chun Woo Hee as the main character. The storyline revolves around an ordinary woman whose life takes a thrilling turn when her cell phone ends up in the possession of a dangerous man, portrayed by Im Siwan.


In Japan, the novel inspired the immensely popular film ‘Stolen Identity,’ hitting theaters in 2018 and achieving significant success at the box office. The success led to the creation of a sequel, ‘Stolen Identity 2,’ in 2020, further establishing the franchise's popularity.


Now, Kwon Eun Bi is stepping into the limelight as she takes on the lead role in the third and final installment of the Japanese film series. Fans can anticipate the release of ‘Stolen Identity 3’ in the fall of 2024, marking Kwon Eun Bi's debut as an actress in a highly awaited project.
