Israeli forces are using the sounds of crying babies and distressed women in their drones to lure Palestinians out of their homes in open areas to target them, according to a report by Al Jazeera.
Sharing the videos on X, Al Jazeera Investigations said, "Quadcopters were emitting baby sounds, playing sounds of screaming women. Palestinians in Gaza say Israel has been using small quadcopter drones, equipped with loudspeakers, to lure them out of their homes and then shoot them."
In the video Maha Hussaini, Euro-Med Human Rights monitor told Aljazeera, “In mid-April, we were informed that Israeli quadcopters were emitting bizarre sounds, including baby sounds or women screaming,”
“I went personally to Nuseirat and I interviewed several Palestinians separately and the testimonies were almost identical,” she said.
She said that the drones were playing sounds of screaming women to lure citizens out of their homes and to find someone to shoot.
"And this was confirmed by actually the reports that we followed up at hospitals. There were cases of people getting injured by these quadcopters. After going out to figure out what was the sound, to try to help Shar," she added.
Earlier, in April several media including Al Jazeera claimed that there are drones that used the bizarre sound to lure the Palestinians out of them home.
