3 Delhi men on way to dargah killed in hit-and-run accident in Hathras
Agra: Three young men from Delhi on their way to Kaimganj Dargah in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh died after an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle in Hathras district. The accident took place near Hussainpur on the Etah-Aligarh highway under Sikandra Rao police station early on Wednesday.Victims Sameer Khan, 20, Aslam Ahmed, 26, and Mustaqeem, 25, were residents of Nangloi, Delhi, and worked as daily wagers. Police said the trio had left Delhi on Tuesday night on a bike. Upon receiving information about the accident, a team from Sikandra Rao Kotwali police station reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The families of the victims were informed after identifying them through documents found in their pockets. Police said the offending vehicle sped away and a search was launched to identify the vehicle and apprehend the driver. SHO Shiv Kumar Sharma said a case would be registered soon and legal action would be initiated. Sharma said, "No case has been filed so far. We are waiting for a police complaint. The bodies have been handed over to their families."
