Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will hold supplementary examinations for Class X and Class XII students from June 11 to 20. The exams will be taken by students who failed the main examination, as well as those who passed but are dissatisfied with their results. Around 1.94 lakh students are expected to appear across the state, including over 28,000 candidates from Ahmedabad city and rural areas. In Ahmedabad, authorities have arranged 88 buildings with 844 blocks for the exams. The region has been divided into four zones, with six main examination centres set up to manage operations. Control rooms have been established in both city and rural areas to monitor the process and ensure the security of question papers.
In Ahmedabad city, two zones and four main centres have been designated, with more than 19,000 students scheduled to take the exams. Seating has been arranged across 55 buildings and 507 blocks. Class X students will be accommodated in 31 buildings with 279 blocks. Class XII general stream students will sit in 11 buildings with 100 blocks, while science stream students will be placed in 13 buildings with 128 blocks.
In rural Ahmedabad, two zones and two main centres have been created. A total of 9,223 students will appear across 33 locations with 337 blocks. Class X candidates include 6,013 students in 202 blocks. Class XII candidates include 3,210 students in 133 blocks, with separate arrangements for general and science streams.
