Fire breaks out in Bengaluru school auditorium, no casualties
Bengaluru: A fire broke out in the auditorium of a private school in Sir M Visvesvaraya Layout, west Bengaluru, Saturday morning. There were no casualties.
Police said a short circuit caused the fire and hundreds of fibre materials/mats placed in the auditorium were gutted.
The school was closed and there was no one inside the building except for security personnel. ”The guards called the police control room and one fire tender doused the flames. Since fibre and plastic materials were gutted, thick smoke emitted from the auditorium and was visible for a long distance,” a police officer said
