Bengaluru horror: Four rape woman in friend’s house, steal fridge, washing machine and TV; all arrested

In a shocking incident in southeast Bengaluru, a 35-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a gang of four at her friend's residence. The accused, identified as Shashi Kumar, Kenche Gowda, Raghu, and Madesh, also stole the victim's mobile phone, transferring Rs 13,000 to their account. Further, they looted a refrigerator, washing machine, and LED TV from the house.

BENGALURU: A 35-year-old woman was raped by a gang of four in her friend's house in southeast Bengaluru. The accused then took the woman's mobile phone and transferred Rs 13,000 to their account and also took away refrigerator, washing machine and LED TV from the house.Acting on the woman's complaint, cops arrested Shashi Kumar, Kenche Gowda, Raghu, and Madesh — all in their late 20s and residents of Hebbagodi. While three work in a biopharmaceutical company, one is a hotel assistant.The woman said the incident took place late Monday night. "My friend had invited me to her house. Another friend joined us and we were chatting when three men knocked on the door. When my friend opened the door, they barged in and threatened to take us to the police station, saying we were involved in flesh trade," the survivor said in her complaint.

She said the three men and the friend who came to the house later assaulted her pal when he tried to stop them from raping her. The accused snatched the survivor's mobile phone and made an online transfer of Rs 13,000 to one of their accounts. "They demanded more money. Since we had nothing, they took away the fridge, washing machine and TV," the woman told police. The accused called a mini-goods vehicle to transport these items, an investigating officer said.(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
