Panchayat VP hacked to death

BENGALURU: A 40-year-old gram panchayat vice-president was hacked to death at Krishnanappanagar near HSR Layout, southeast Bengaluru.
M Manjunath, vice-president of Halanayakanahalli gram panchayat, was killed by a machete and other weapons when he was walking past a private college at 8.30am. The assailants were in an auto and motorbikes. Police do not rule out the involvement of his family members.They suspect property feud or a monetary issue may be the reason.
