NEET UG paper leak: NSUI protest rally in Bhubaneswar, demands Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation
BHUBANESWAR: The Congress-affiliated student wing, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), on Wednesday organised a protest rally in Bhubaneswar demanding the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG controversy.
A large number of NSUI members marched through parts of the Odisha, raising slogans against the Centre and accusing the education ministry of failing to protect the interests of students following allegations of irregularities in the NEET examination process.
The protesters called for Pradhan’s resignation and demanded immediate accountability.
During the rally, NSUI workers displayed placards and banners.
The protest comes amid growing political pressure on the Centre over the NEET-UG row, with opposition parties and student organisations across the country demanding reforms in the examination system.
