An elderly woman died at a cyclone shelter in Odisha's Kendrapara district on Friday. The 82-year-old woman identified as Hemalata Nayak of Bankual village died on Thursday night of suspected cardiac arrest at a cyclone shelter set up at Kalyan Mandap Dangamal under Dangamal gram panchayat under Rajnagar block of Kendrapara district.

Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi reviewed the situation after severe Cyclone Dana completed its landfall process on the Odisha coast on Friday morning. He stated that the state govt was successful in ensuring 'Zero Casualty'. The situation will be normal soon, Majhi said.

Odisha chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi has started monitoring the post-landfall situation of Cyclone Dana at Rajiv Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
Flight operations will resume services at 8.00 am instead of 9.00 am from Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar.
