New Delhi: Three men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 40-year-old man, identified as John. John was found with multiple stab wounds and blood-stained clothing beside a tree on a pavement near southwest Delhi's Masoodpur Flyover around 8.15pm on Tuesday. DCP (southwest) Rohit Meena said John was a labourer and lived under the flyover in Vasant Kunj. He was involved in an altercation with three men — Aman (21), a ragpicker, Jeewan (27), a drummer and beggar, and Aamir (18), a petrol pump worker.Jeewan had asked Aamir to meet him near the flyover to settle a debt of Rs 800 that Aamir owed. Jeewan arrived with Aman there, and the three men began drinking liquor, cops said.John, who had set up his bedding nearby, got into a confrontation with the trio after Aman allegedly vomited close to his space. John hurled abuses at Aman, provoking him to attack John with a broken liquor bottle. Jeewan also joined the assault, using a knife found among John's belongings, police said.
