New Delhi: In a major reshuffle, the home ministry on Thursday ordered the transfer of 78 IAS and IPS officers of AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre. The list of officers moved from Delhi includes five district DCPs of Delhi Police. In all, 45 IPS and 33 IAS officers figure on the list.
Additionally, 32 officials of DANICS (Delhi-Andaman and Nicobar Island Civil Service) and DANIPS (Delhi-Andaman and Nicobar Island Police Service) officers have also been reassigned.
Among the IPS officers transferred are Joint CP Meenu Chaudhary from Delhi to Mizoram, IPS Tusar Taba from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh, IPS Veenu Bansal from Mizoram to Delhi, and 2004 batch IPS M N Tiwari from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi. Other officers, such as Hibu Tamang, P N Khrimey, Vijay Kumar, Geeta Rani Verma, Sanjay Tyagi, Ajay Sharma, Monica Bhardwaj, Gaurav Sharma, Sheikh Junaid Mahmood, Mangesh Kashyap, Amit Rai, Varsha Sharma, Ahmed Khan, Akhtar Rizvi, and Rajiv Ranjan, have been transferred to various locations, including Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Goa, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Mizoram. tnn
