The Aam Aadmi Party’s internal rift erupted publicly after Raghav Chadha reacted to his removal as Rajya Sabha deputy leader.

Senior leaders hit back strongly, defending the leadership and justifying Chadha’s “demotion” in the Upper House.

Delhi AAP chief Saurabh Bharadwaj and IT cell head Anurag Dhanda called themselves “Arvind Kejriwal ke sipaahi” while backing the decision.

Saurabh Bharadwaj accused Raghav Chadha of focusing on “soft PR” instead of taking on the PM Narendra Modi-led government.

Taking a swipe, Saurabh Bharadwaj said limited Parliament time should not be spent on issues like “samosas” instead of serious national concerns.

Aam Aadmi Party leaders also said that Raghav Chadha rarely questioned PM Narendra Modi or the Bharatiya Janata Party and did not participate in opposition walkouts.

They also questioned his role as a Punjab Member of Parliament, claiming he failed to raise key state issues or speak up on cases against party workers.

Raghav Chadha was not present in the country due to medical reasons when top Aam Aadmi Party leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, were jailed.

Leaders accused Raghav Chadha of avoiding tough stands, staying silent on major issues, and “fearing PM Narendra Modi.”
