Faridabad: Two men were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly entering an eye clinic, assaulting a doctor with scissors and looting cash from the clinic in SGM Nagar. Police recovered Rs 70,000 from the accused so far.The incident occurred on Dec 21, when the doctor, Rahul, was present at his clinic near Sharma Chowk. Police said two youths — Sunil Chaudhary alias Sonu and Robin Sharma alias Ganju, both residents of SGM Nagar — entered the clinic and began abusing him. When Rahul objected, Robin allegedly picked up a pair of scissors lying on a table and attacked him, while both accused assaulted the doctor.

The duo then allegedly looted Rs 1.10 lakh from the clinic's cash drawer and fled. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at the SGM Nagar police station.During interrogation, police found that Sunil's father had earlier asked the doctor to help sell his house, and Rahul had been sending prospective buyers to their residence. However, Sunil was opposed to selling the property, which led to a dispute.Police said Sunil first came to the clinic and argued with the doctor. He later called Robin, and the two then allegedly carried out the assault, with Robin attacking Rahul with scissors and Sunil looting the cash.Both accused were produced before a court and remanded to two days of police custody for further interrogation.
