Arunachal, IIFT Kol ink MoU to establish export facilitation cell
Itanagar: In a step to strengthen the export ecosystem and provide international market access for local products, the department of trade and commerce has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Kolkata, under the Union ministry of commerce and industry, for the establishment of an export facilitation cell (EFC) at Itanagar.The MoU was signed here on Thursday in the presence of trade and commerce secretary Bullo Mamu, trade and commerce director Sonyung Modi, IIFT head Dr K Rangarajan, and officers of the department and consultant & EFC coordinator with states, X-Cell, IIFT Kolkata, Sumana Das, according to a press statement from the department.
