Leopard sighting in Sonna village creates anxiety among villagers

Kalaburagi: The sighting of a leopard in Sonna village of Jewargi taluk in Kalaburagi district created anxiety among the villagers. Locals are terrified after a leopard attacked a dog after it entered the village late at night on Saturday.After the incident, the villagers immediately informed the forest department, and the officials who came to the spot conducted an investigation. During the inspection, footprints of a leopard were found, and the authorities confirmed that it was the leopard that attacked the dog.In the wake of this incident, there is further anxiety among the villagers, and they demanded that the forest department capture the leopard and ensure the security of the villagers.
