New facilities to support free education for girls inaugurated by Gavi mutt

Abhinava Gavisiddheshwara Swami of Gavi Mutt said the initiative reflects a long-standing commitment to education, especially for rural and underprivileged girls, and aims to provide both learning and accommodation support.Speakers noted that the gurukul has been providing free accommodation and food facilities to thousands of students. The addition of new buildings would further strengthen access to education in the region, they added.Educationist Prabhakar Kore underlined the contribution of mutts in promoting education and social service.Former IAS rank-holder (2015 batch), Chinmayi, said access to free education and hostels plays a key role in encouraging rural students to pursue higher studies.Public representatives, including legislators and former ministers, said the gurukul has emerged as a model educational centre.
