Guv supports Manipur culture univ’s demand
Imphal: Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Friday assured the varsity authorities of extending support to build a permanent campus of the Manipur University of Culture (MUC), reports K Sarojkumar Sharma. She also asked the MUC to submit a proposal for the same. The MUC is operating from a rented campus in Imphal West district. Her response came after VC Paonam Gunindro Singh and others requested her to help in establishing a permanent campus. We also published the following articles recently

At 8.30 am, a forest team in Nashik rescued a leopard from the MUHS campus. The 3.5-year-old male leopard was tranquillized and taken to the forest department's nursery. It will be released back into its natural habitat by officials soon.

We want peace in Manipur: Alson Singh
Oinam Alson Singh, a discus thrower and Khelo India University Games winner, clinched a bronze medal with a throw of 52.03m. He faced challenges training in Guwahati due to violence in Thoubal, emphasizing the importance of peace in Manipur. Singh aims to achieve the Olympics qualification mark by training in Turkey with Raj Laxman sir.
