BIKANER: The dharna staged by the 'Dushkaram Pidit Sangharsh Samiti' at Khajuwala ended on Friday after the district administration and samiti had talks. ASP (rural) Jai Narayan Meena told TOI that on Friday afternoon discussion took place between district collector Arti Dogra, SP Rakesh Saxena, MLA Vishwanath Meghwal and others. It was decided to give ex-gratia relief of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the two deceased girls, allegedly killed by poisoning after sexual assault by the school owner.
Besides this, circle officer of Khajuwala Babulal Vishnoi has been sent on leave and the staff of Khajuwala police station has been deported to police line, Bikaner.

ASP Meena said that after these decisions, MLA Meghwal announced the end of dharna which has continued since last five days in protest of sexual assault on the girls.
ASP (rral) Meena said that police custody of both the accused Rajesh Dhangar and Rajesh Vishnoi had been extended till May 6, and they are being interrogated. He said forensic report from state forensic laboratory, Jaipur is awaited.
Meanwhile, the samiti announced financial relief of Rs 1 lakh to the minor who was raped throughout the night by school bus driver Rajesh Vishnoi in the bus in another incident.
