PAC edge Diamond by 5 wickets in KDMA league match

Kanpur: Sandeep Mittal’s unbeaten 124 helped PAC Club beat Diamond Club by five wickets in a KDMA league match held at the PAC Ground on Wednesday.

Batting first Diamond posted a total of 6 for 232, with Adarsh Tiwari and Ayush Shukla contributing 70 and 60 runs respectively.

PAC club in reply scored 235 runs for the loss of 5 wickets as Sandeep Mittal scored unbeaten 124 runs for his team.

Judo—Pratyushi Sonkar and Shaurya Sonkar two trainees of The Sports Hub won silver and bronze medals respectively in 55th KVS Regional Sports M0eet 2026. The two judokas had participated in their respective groups and performed very well and won medals.

Free sports training for EWS athletes

223 children belonging to economically weaker section of the society are getting free of cost sports coaching at The Sports Hub now a days. This is eight batch of trainees who are being trained under the close supervision of trained coach in a center having latest equipments of respective sports.

TSH in last seven batches so far had trained as many as 1734. The trainees have so far won 4 silver and 6 bronze medals in state level championships and in district level meets they had won 36 gold, 32 silver and 48 bronze medals.

Cricket coaching camp concluded

The sports directorate’s 15 days long central coaching camp concluded at Green park stadium on Wednesday. As many as 80 under 15 cricketers from 18 divisions had been picked and trained here under expert coaches.

Rajendra Tiwari, SP vigilance, was the chief guest of closing function and he presented certificate and a tea shirt to all the trainees.
