Kottayam: Vishwakarma Service Society has urged state govt to intervene urgently to ensure protection of the age-old rituals and practices at
Sabarimala. Considering the sentiments and beliefs of millions of Ayyappa devotees, the society requested through a statement that the govt should submit a new affidavit in the Supreme Court favouring the devotees in the case related to women's entry. For Vishwakarma community, which traditionally played a significant role in temple and idol construction, temple rituals are not just ceremonies but sacred beliefs passed down through generations, the leaders said.
