Satara SP shifted to Sangli, Neelotpal is Kolhapur SP

Kolhapur: Satara superintendent of police (SP) Tushar Doshi was transferred to Sangli on Monday, and will now be replaced by deputy commissioner of police (Pune) Nikhil Pingle.Recently, ministers from Satara had demanded Doshi's suspension after they were manhandled by the police during the Satara ZP election. Doshi could only complete 11 months of his tenure as Satara SP. The state home department made several transfers and postings of IPS officers on Monday. Kolhapur SP Yogeshkumar Gupta has been transferred to Gadchiroli as deputy inspector general. In his place, Gadchiroli's SP Neelotpal will assume charge as Kolhapur SP.Sangli SP Sandip Ghuge is now deputy commissioner of police in state intelligence department (Mumbai). S Ramesh additional SP of Gadchiroli has been promoted as SP of Gadchiroli.Maheshwar Reddy, SP of Jalgaon, will be SP of state CID (Pune). Shrikant Dhivare, SP of Dhule has been transferred as SP of Jalgaon. Deputy commissioner of police (Pune) Rajkumar Shinde will now be SP of Washim.
