Stop meddling in NCP’s internal affairs: Mushrif to NCP (SP) members

Kolhapur: State medical education minister and senior NCP member Hasan Mushrif on Friday appealed to NCP (SP) politicians not to interfere in the party's internal affairs.Mushrif said NCP members like Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare were targeted, and attempts were made to show them as villains in the discourse over the merger of both the parties. "Both are in top positions in the party since the time of Sharad Pawar. They have the right to conduct and attend party meetings. What is wrong in that? They are being targeted unnecessarily, and attempts are made to show them as villains. I hope the interference in our internal party matters stops," Mushrif said.He said after former deputy CM Ajit Pawar passed away in the deadly plane crash, the situation changed. "The discussions with leaders like Shashikant Shinde and others were limited to an alliance for local body polls. Now, after Ajit Pawar's passing, the situation changed. BJP should be taken into confidence. Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar should discuss it with her family," the minister said.Mushrif said Rohit Pawar's claims over the accident were unwarranted. "I can understand his pain. We are also pained. He presented some doubts as Ajit Pawar's nephew. We also raised some doubts with CM. The state and centre are carrying out the investigation," Mushrif added.
