City Centre New Town bags 7 star rating

KOLKATA: CRISIL Real Estate Star (CREST) ratings has bestowed Kolkata 7-star rating to City Centre, New Town. CRISIL Real Estate Star ratings provide a city specific all-round assessment of real estate projects, thus helping customers benchmark and identify quality projects within a city. Speaking on the occasion, Bengal Ambuja Housing Development Ltd managing director Harshavardhan Neotia said: ""We are very happy to receive the Kolkata 7-star rating from a prestigious body such as CRISIL.City Centre New Town and
indeed all City Centres are conceived as complete family destinations and such accolades are validation of a team's efforts.""
CRISIL Ratings head Akash Deep Jyoti said CREST indicated the quality of real estate projects in the city, as per specifications. ""The rating exercise is stringent and involves site visit, peer-benchmarking, interactions with project team. These ratings are a long-term value addition by a developer for buyers and tenants of a retail project,"" he explained.
Developed by Bengal Ambuja Housing Development Ltd., City Centre New Town is the second edition after their maiden venture City Centre Salt Lake. Spread over almost 5-lakh sq ft, City Centre New Town comprises a shopping plaza, a food court, an entertainment arena, a cineplex and over 220 outlets and five star deluxe hotel Swissotel Kolkata Neotia Vista. City Centre New Town is designed by leading architect Kapil Bhalla.
