Two killed in Howrah road accident

HOWRAH: Two persons died in a road accident in Howrah on Thursday early morning. Md. Salam Ansari, 50 and Sheikh Daniel Hyder, 24 were killed near Kona Expressway under the Shibpur police station when they were run over by a truck at 1.45 am.
The two pillion riders fell off the motor cycle when it lost control and hit a drum. A speeding truck coming from behind crushed the duo under its wheels, killing them on the spot.
The person who was riding the motor cycle escaped unhurt. They were residents of Garden Reach. Police said that they were in an inebriated state.
