Lok Sabha bypoll results 2022 live: The BJP on Sunday bagged two Lok Sabha and three assembly seats while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suffered a setback in Punjab's Sangrur as results came in for the bypolls to three Lok Sabha and seven assembly seats spread across five states and Delhi. However, there was something to cheer about for the AAP as it won the bypoll to the Rajinder Nagar seat in the national capital.

Azamgarh byelection latest trends

After counting of 2,85,924 votes, SP leading with 96,605 votes followed by BJP with 93,555 votes and BSP with 86,994 votes.

SP candidates leading in Rampur and Azamgarh

The Samajwadi Party candidates are leading in both Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha seats. According to available trends, SP candidate Mohd Asim Raja has a lead in Rampur over his nearest rival Ghanshyam Lodhi of the BJP. In Azamgarh, SP's Dharmendra Yadav is leading over BJP candidate Dinesh Lal Yadav 'Nirahua', his nearest rival. BSP's Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali is trailing at third spot in Azamgarh. While in Rampur there is direct fight between SP and BJP, Azamgarh is witnessing a triangular contest with BSP forming the third corner.

Sangrur bypoll: Close fight between AAP, SAD candidates

Aam Aadmi Party and SAD candidates are neck and neck in the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat, according to initial trends. Counting of votes for the bypoll to the high-stakes Sangrur Lok Sabha is under way. Mann is a former MP and the president of SAD (Amritsar). Congress candidate Dalvir Singh Goldy, BJP's Kewal Dhillon and SAD's Kamaldeep Kaur Rajoana were at the third, fourth and fifth spots respectively, the trends showed. (PTI)
