Lucknow: Taking strict note of complaints related to police inaction and encroachments, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed officials to closely monitor such cases and ensure justice for the affected individuals.The CM issued directions during a janta darshan in Lucknow, where petitioners from various districts submitted representations, complaining about police inaction and the lack of appropriate action in cases involving illegal encroachments.Yogi listened to the problems of the people and handed over the applications to officials, directing them to closely monitor the matters. He instructed them to ensure justice for the victims and take action against those found guilty. The CM also assured the complainants that their grievances would be addressed at the earliest.The CM asked them which district-level officials they had approached with their grievances. A few petitioners replied that they had come directly to him.A young girl from Lucknow informed the CM that she had passed her intermediate examination with good marks and wished to pursue a BTech degree, but was facing financial difficulties. After reviewing her marksheet, Yogi encouraged her to focus on her studies and assured her that her admission would be arranged in a reputed institution.
