Lakdawala threatening Bollywood star: TV

MUMBAI: A TV news channel on Sunday claimed that it had received a telephone call from gangster Ejaz Lakdawala, threatening action against some Bollywood personalities.
Lakdawala is alleged to have issued a threat to a well known Bollywood star for lodging false complaint against him with the police.
"All such people who lodge false complaints of extortion against me will be dealt with strongly", Lakdawala allegedly told the news channel.
However, Mumbai police denied that any Bollywood personality had received threat from the underworld.
Joint Commissioner of Police Dr Satypal Singh denied that the Bollywood star allegedly mentioned by Lakdawala had lodged a complaint of underworld threat.
