Nagpur: Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 examination and are not satisfied with their performance or have been placed in the compartment category have a structured set of options available, the board said in its result notification issued on Wednesday.
Students placed in compartment can appear for the supplementary examination scheduled on July 15, a single-day examination. Three categories of students are eligible. First, candidates who passed Class 12 in 2026 and wish to improve their performance in one subject. Second, candidates who appeared in 2026 and were placed in compartment. Third, candidates who appeared in 2025 and were placed in compartment, for whom this will be the last opportunity as CBSE allows only three attempts to clear the compartment.
Schools and students wishing to register for the supplementary examination must submit the List of Candidates (LOC) online starting June 2. No changes to the LOC, including addition or deletion of names or subjects, will be accepted once submitted. No application will be accepted after the last date.
For students seeking re-evaluation or verification of marks, post-result declaration facilities will be available from April 18. These facilities can only be availed of online. CBSE said a detailed circular will be issued separately with the schedule. Students are advised to follow the schedule strictly as no application will be accepted after the last date.
