PATNA: Eight wagons of a goods train derailed in Bihar’s Jamui district late Saturday night, disrupting rail traffic on the busy Howrah–Patna–Delhi route, officials said.There were no reports of casualties, accoring to news agency PTI.The derailment occurred around 11.25 pm on Saturday between Lahabon and Simultala stations under the Asansol division of Eastern Railways. As a result, the movement of nearly two dozen trains was affected overnight, causing inconvenience to passengers.Officials said accident relief trains were rushed to the site from Asansol, Madhupur and Jhajha, and restoration work is currently in progress.
