Patna: Patliputra University (PPU) announced the examination schedule for the three-year undergraduate (UG) degree Part-I vocational courses on Thursday. The exams will be conducted from June 4 to June 13 in two sittings across various examination centres in Patna and Nalanda districts.
According to the PPU examination controller Manoj Kumar, the examinations will be held in two shifts — from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm. Students enrolled in vocational programmes such as bachelor of computer applications (BCA), bachelor of business management (BBM), bachelor of business administration (BBA), advertising, sales promotion and sales management (ASPM), travel and tourism management (TTM), biotechnology, extended warehouse management (EWM), industrial microbiology, BSc IT and BSc biochemistry will appear in the examinations.
“Preparations for the examinations have already begun to ensure that the process is conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Special arrangements are being made at all designated centres for the smooth conduct of the examinations,” Kumar said, adding that the viva-voce and practical examinations for vocational courses will be organised at the respective colleges of the students.
Meanwhile, the university has also provided a final date to fill the online examination form for UG vocational degree Part-I examinations from May 18 to May 20. “Students belonging to general and BC-II categories will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 1,450 each, while candidates from BCI, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories will pay Rs 950 each,” he said.
