Patna: CM Samrat Choudhary, BJP national president Nitin Nabin and several NDA leaders on Tuesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years in office as a golden chapter of public trust and service.
Samrat said under Modi’s leadership, India has achieved new heights ranging from welfare of the poor to enhanced global stature. “From poor welfare to India’s growing respect on the global stage, the country under PM Modi’s leadership has established new dimensions of self-reliance and national pride. Every decision of his has been dedicated to the national interest, and every moment to the service of Mother India,” he said.
Nitin described the period as “Sankalp Se Siddhi (attainment through resolve)” and said the past 12 years symbolised not merely a change in govt, but also the restoration of the nation’s self-confidence and cultural consciousness.
JD(U) national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha wrote on X, “May 26, 2014 marks a defining turning point in India’s journey. The years that followed ushered in a new era focused on good governance, bold decision-making, stability, delivery and public welfare.”
LJP(RV) chief and Union minister Chirag Paswan recalled Modi’s swearing-in ceremony and said, “I, Narendra Damodardas Modi... This voice resounded exactly 12 years ago today within the historic precincts of the Rashtrapati Bhavan; and with it, India witnessed the commencement of a new journey of service, good governance, and development.”
Union minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said during his 46-year political journey, he had seen all Prime Ministers from Jawaharlal Nehru onwards. “If we set aside Atal Bihari Vajpayee for a moment, I believe that Narendra Modi’s govt represents a golden period for India. This phase is remarkable and beyond ordinary comparison. It reflects a strong sense of purpose and leadership,” Manjhi said.
BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi said India had achieved new milestones in welfare, digital transformation, infrastructure and global prestige during the last 12 years.
Senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey said the period had become synonymous with “good governance, development, and national pride”, highlighting the abrogation of Article 370, Ram Temple construction and welfare schemes for the poor.
