Unidentified Woman's Body Found Floating in Pond in Bagaha

Body of married woman found: The body of an unidentified woman, believed to be around 35 years old, was recovered from a pond at Dhobi Ghatwa in Ratnamala ward no. 33 of Bagaha Municipal Council area in West Champaran district on Sunday. Police sent the body to a govt hospital for the postmortem. Town police station in charge Shailesh Kumar said the woman appeared to be married, but her identity was yet to be established. “Efforts are being made to identify the woman through nearby police stations and other channels,” he said. SDPO Nihar Bhushan said police were probing the case from all possible angles pending the postmortem report.
