Don’t fall for fake job ads: Maha Metro

Pune: The Metro administration has urged job aspirants and citizens to stay alert about fake recruitment ads.The administration said “unscrupulous elements” were trying to deceive the public with fake promises of a job in the Metro through unethical means.The recruitment process in Maha Metro is purely based on merit and Metro has not appointed any agency or coaching centres for recruitment on its behalf, an official said. The official also urged job seekers to visit its official websites and social media channels, where all recruitment-related notifications are uploaded regularly.People should approach the police with all possible details in case they come across such unscrupulous attempts, the official added.The Maha Metro is operating on two routes covering 33km in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. Works on more routes, covering over 60km, are underway.
