PUNE: Burglars targeted three flats in Pimpri Chinchwad and a bungalow in Karvenagar on Sunday and Monday, stealing jewellery worth over Rs 12 lakh.
Ornaments worth over Rs 9.44 lakh were stolen from the flats of Pranit Joshi (34) and his neighbour Chandrashekhar Kane in Suvani complex in Vallabhnagar in Pimpri on Sunday afternoon. The two flats were locked.

Joshi and Kane work with a private firm in Pimpri. Joshi has registered a complaint with the Pimpri police station.
Jaideep Shelke (29) of Sankalp apartments at Bhoir colony, Chinchwad, has lodged a complaint stating that burglars struck at his locked apartment between 9.30 am and 3 pm. Gold and silver ornaments worth over Rs 1.64 lakh are missing, the complaint said.
Rahul Narayan Kulkarni (40) of Saraswat bungalow at United Western society in Karvenagar has registered a complaint with the Kothrud police station stating that unidentified men stole cash, gold and silver ornaments, totally worth Rs 1.3 lakh, from his locked bungalow on Sunday night.
