Manhar Mori new Bhavnagar mayor

RAJKOT: Manhar Mori was on Thursday appointed new mayor of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, while Ashok Bariya became new deputy mayor.

Yuvrajsinh Gohil was appointed new standing committee chairman. The names were announced at a general board meeting of the civic body on Thursday.
Meanwhile, new mayor for Jamnagar will be declared on Friday at a general board meeting of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC).This year, the position is reserved for an OBC candidate. Pravin Madam and Meraman Bhatu are main contenders.
