Illicit Liquor Seized in Hazaribag: 477 Liters of Foreign Liquor and Spirit Confiscated

Hazaribag: A joint excise team of Hazaribag and Chatra districts seized around 477 litres of illicit foreign liquor packed in 53 cartons and 210 lt of spirit in six cans from Arabhusai village and Mahugain tola under the Katkamsandi police station limits on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Accused Vishesh Kumar Soni, a resident of Matwari was arrested, police said. Cases have been registered against six accused — Ashish Dangi, Subhash Dangi, Ravindra Yadav, Parvez Ansari, Basarat Mian, and Sundar Munda, all residents of Arabhusai — who are absconding, police added.
