The people of Hamirpur have shown trust in me. I am thankful to the people of Himachal Pradesh and Hamirpur for blessing me for the fifth time. I will be working for the next five years for the people of Hamirpur. My next five years will be dedicated to the people of Hamirpur and Himachal Pradesh, for the betterment of poor people, and the development of the region. I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, JP Nadda, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh. The senior leaders of the BJP have showered their blessings on me. I think the BJP will again cross 300 seats and under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the NDA will form the government. Congress party is not even close to winning 100 Lok Sabha seats.
People have voted in favour of BJP-NDA led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Himachal has always given a 100 percent result in BJP's favour and it remains the same this time as well. The country needs a stable government and a strong and honest leader like PM Modi. This stability and continuation are extremely necessary to live up to the expectations that the world has of India right now. The Indian economy is moving forward at a tremendous pace and so is the developmental work so it is vital for this government to come to power once again. People have voted for us.
Contesting from Kangra was a splendid experience and I accept my defeat humbly and congratulate Rajiv Bhardwaj for his success. I am thankful to the Congress party leadership and colleagues who trusted me and I accepted the party's decision knowing that Kangra was a BJP bastion. I am grateful to the people of Kangra and Chamba for their love and affection.
They (Congress) will have to suffer the consequences of talking so low about a woman... And that is becoming clear today with the way we have got the lead. Mandi has not taken kindly to the insults for daughters.. As far as my departure to Mumbai is concerned, this (Himachal Pradesh) is my 'janmabhoomi' and I will continue to serve people here. I have always said that I will work as a soldier in PM Narendra Modi's goal of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.' So, I am not going anywhere. Perhaps, someone else will have to pack their bags and leave. I am not going anywhere.
