THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala won five medals while Punjab came a close second winning four, after results of 12 out of 18 events were announced on the penultimate day of the eighth National Youth Festival here on Wednesday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala won five medals while Punjab came a close second winning four, after results of 12 out of 18 events were announced on the penultimate day of the eighth National Youth Festival here on Wednesday.
West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh bagged three apiece to be placed third. While winners of individual events will be awarded a gold medal and a cash award of Rs 6,000, those of group events will be awarded Rs 10,000 besides the yellow metal.
