Annual musical fest begins at Sankat Mochan Temple

Varanasi: The five-day annual musical festivity called Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh began at the famous Sankat Mochan Temple on Friday evening.
The festivity, which is a part of month-long Hanuman Jayanti celebrations, would feature performances by noted vocalists, dancers and musical instrument players from across the country.
For the first time, a kathak dance would be performed by a Korean dancer, Kim Jim Yang, at the festival.The musical programme would conclude on April 26 this year.
