Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh governor S Abdul Nazeer offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the world renowned Tirumala temple on Thursday. Accompanied by his family members, AP governor arrived at the Mahadwaram of the hill temple, where he was accorded the traditional “Isthikapal” welcome along with temple honours by the officials and priests of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams led by EO Muddada Ravichandra and additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.After a brief darshan of the presiding deity, Abdul Nazeer reached the Ranganayakula Mandapam, where TTD Veda pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam. TTD EO Muddada Ravichandra and additional EO Venkaiah Chowdary presented the Governor with Teertha Prasadam and a laminated portrait of Lord Venkateswara. TTD CVSO KV Murali Krishna, VGO Surendra, temple deputy EO Lokanadham and reception deputy EO Bhaskar were present.
