Sanju's next holy stoppage

Sanju baba has been seeking the blessings of the almighty with fervour ever since he stepped out of Yerwada prison on bail, criss-crossing the country in the endeavour.After offering prayers at a temple in Pune, then at the Shani Shignapur temple in Ahmednagar, then at the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi, the star’s next pilgrimage stop is believed to be Vaishno Devi.
On Saturday evening, he landed in Delhi and checked into a leading five-star hotel for two days, supposedly en route to the pilgrimage centre in Jammu & Kashmir. He did not spend too much time at the ITC Maurya after checking in, though, and left for an undisclosed destination with three friends who arrived with him. Manyata was among them – she had also accompanied him to Ahmednagar and Shirdi earlier.
Sanjay is known to frequent astrologers and religious shrines ever since the TADA case against him started a decade-and-a-half ago. Even after he came back from Yerwada, the first public appearance that he made was at a pooja held at Sanjay Gupta’s residence. It was held on the day of Raksha Bandhan and Sanjay did the aarti there.
The stopover in Delhi was possibly a last-minute change of plan, as sources at Jammu airport told DT that the actor was scheduled to have landed there en route to Vaishno Devi on Saturday afternoon, but the plans were postponed late in the day. And so, destination Delhi it was for Dutt!
