‘Boy Meets World’ showrunner David Kendall passes away at the age of 68

He was 68 years old at the time of his untimely demise. He passed away on May 2.

They made a post on the official account for ‘Pod Meets World’, which paid tributes to the star and shared an emotional post about his passing. The post read, “To say that David Kendall was instrumental in the creation of Boy Meets World would be an understatement. He directed, wrote and executive produced our show, but also helped mold some of TV’s most memorable sitcoms, from Growing Pains to Hannah Montana.”

The post further read that “We all kept in touch with David over the past 30 years, and are honored that we were able to share his incredible personality with our Pod Meets World listeners. We have lost a vital piece of our family.” The post was then signed off by writing, “We love you, David. Rest in peace. No notes.”

At the time of writing, the cause of his passing has not yet been shared with the public. David Kendall was the driving force behind a lot of hit and popular TV shows.

David Kendall worked extensively as a director, showrunner, and producer, among other things, and was known as the creative force behind some of the most beloved shows. He was born in Philadelphia on October 4, 1957, and completed his higher education at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
