'Vrushabha' is a father-son story with high stakes
The high-budget movie is an action entertainer. It explores the bond and conflict between a father and son. Mohanlal plays the lead role, and Telugu actor Roshan Meka plays his son. The cast also has Zahrah S. Khan, Simran, and Shankar Ramakrishnan playing pivotal roles.
The first-look poster was released on Mohanlal’s birthday earlier this year. It hinted at the scale of the project and set the tone for what audiences can expect.
Mohanlal's earlier note during wrap up
Earlier in February, Mohanlal had announced the shoot wrap of 'Vrushabha'. He shared a video on Instagram from the sets where he was seen cutting a cake with the crew. In his note, the actor called the project an “epic action entertainer.”
“It’s a wrap for Vrushabha! This isn’t just a movie—it’s an EPIC action entertainer that will leave you on the edge of your seat!” Mohanlal wrote. He also thanked director Nanda Kishore and the team, saying, “Huge thanks to our visionary writer and director, whose brilliance turned every challenge into a triumph, and to the incredible crew who gave their all to make this happen.”
On the other hand, Mohanlal's recent film is Sathyan Anthikad's feel-good movie 'Hridayapoorvam', which also features Malavika Mohanan in the lead.
