‘Bhari’: Niharika Konidela makes her costliest film with brother Varun Tej
Niharika Konidela is producing her brother Varun Tej's upcoming sports action drama, 'Bhari', a volleyball film. This marks her biggest project to date with a reported budget of Rs 60 crore. The film, directed by Yadhu Vamsee, is slated for a Sankranti 2027 release and recently had its first clap by Pawan Kalyan.
Amidst the preparations of her upcoming film ‘Rakasa’, actor-turned-producer Niharika Konidela is also backing the upcoming film starring Varun Tej, which is named ‘Bhari’. The film is set to be a sports action drama where her brother will be seen playing a Volleyball player. This film, it will mark her biggest project that she has produced under her banner. Pawam Kalyan gives his blessing

Last Saturday, which was on March 28, her production banner officially annouced the film, for which Pawan Kalyan officially gave the first clap, which marked the beginning of the project. Niharika Konidela and Varun Tej takes blessing of Pawan Kalyan, touching his feet. Varun Tej’s wife, actor Lavanya Tripathi, was also present.

Budget of ‘Bhari’

Now, while speaking with Variety, shared some details about ‘Bhari’. She went on to disclose that the film is set to be made on bugdet of Rs 60 crore. This makes the costliest film backed by her.

In addition to it, she also mentioned that a Telugu heroine will be part of the movie.

Varun Tej’s upcoming movie

Speaking about the film, they shared an animated teaser that hints at being a village-rooted film. It shows multiple shots of a man hanging with his hands on a bridge, a farmer harvesting onions, a man driving a motorcycle or cockfighting and betting.
Later in the video, we see an animated version of the character of Varun Tej playing a match of Volleyball.Directed by Yadhu Vamsee, the film is expected to begin shooting soon, with the team planning for a Sankranti 2027 release. It may start after Varun Tej completes his next movie, ‘Korean Kanakaraju’, which is set to be a horror comedy drama. The music is composed by Anudeep Dev and it will be edited by Anwar Ali.
