IAF strikes in Pakistan updates: No reports of any IAF jet suffering damage in Pak action
On Wednesday morning, the Pakistan Air Force violated Indian air space and dropped two bombs near Indian Army camps in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Air Force shot down Pak F-16 that violated Indian air space.
Even if this is the other Balakot which falls in Poonch sector along the LoC, it is the first time that IAF jets have crossed the LoC since the 1971 war. During the 1999 Kargil war, the IAF, while bombing terror outposts, took care not to cross the LoC.

Reacting to reports of India carrying out air strikes on terror camps in Pakistan, leaders of various political parties are lauding the "bravery" of Indian Air Force pilots.
