PM Modi Live Updates: 'Pokhran has become witness to trinity of India's aatmanirbharta,' says PM Modi
PM Modi Ahmedabad Live Updates: The 'Bharat Shakti' exercise will showcase indigenous weapons and platforms to demonstrate the country's strength, based on the nation's Aatmanirbharata initiative. It will simulate realistic, synchronised multi-domain operations, showcasing the integrated operational prowess of the Indian Armed Forces in addressing threats spanning across land, air, sea, cyber, and space domains. The exercise features a range of advanced equipment and weapons systems, such as T-90 (IM) Tanks, Dhanush and Sarang Gun Systems, Akash Weapons Systems, Logistics Drones, Robotic Mules, Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), and various unmanned aerial vehicles. These assets, showcased by the Indian Army, highlight both cutting-edge ground warfare and aerial surveillance capabilities. Follow TOI for latest updates:

PM Modi Dwarka Expressway Inauguration: Several design firsts in Dwarka Expressway that PM Narendra Modi opens today
The expressway’s Delhi section near IGI airport features an 8-lane tunnel, which is 3.6km long. It’s a ‘shallow tunnel’, meaning one that doesn’t dive deep or need tunnel boring machines. The tunnel was necessary because no elevated structure can be built near the airport. “An elevated stretch would have become a security issue and impacted the airport radar,” said a source. This section sees very heavy traffic of around 40,000 cars per day, so building a tunnel was also a logistical challenge. The tunnel has an emergency exit and a dedicated control room.

"These projects will significantly contribute towards the growth of the national highway network as well as help in boosting socio-economic growth, enhance job opportunities and promote trade and commerce in regions across the country," the official statement issued read.

Dwarka Expressway Inauguration: Police issue traffic advisory for Dwarka Expressway inauguration
Traffic movement will be regulated in many areas of Dwarka on Monday for inauguration of the Dwarka Expressway, according to an advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the expressway in Dwarka Sector-25 and traffic movement will be regulated in the area from 8 am to 2 pm, the advisory, issued on Sunday. The advisory has urged commuters to avoid Dhulsiras Chowk, Sector 8-9 crossing, Carmel Chowk Sector-20, Janki Chowk near Sector-23 police station and Pochanpur flyover Sector-23 Chowk.

Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for various National Highway projects across the country. Major projects for which the foundation stone will be laid include 14 packages of Bengaluru - Kadappa - Vijayawada Expressway worth Rs. 14,000 crores in Andhra Pradesh; six packages of Belgaum - Hungund - Raichur Section of NH-748A worth Rs. 8,000 crores in Karnataka; three packages of Shamli - Ambala Highway worth Rs. 4,900 crores in Haryana; two packages of Amritsar - Bathinda corridor worth Rs. 3,800 crores in Punjab; along with 39 other projects worth Rs. 32,700 crores in different states across the country.

PM Modi Visit Today: The section of Dwarka Expressway to be inaugurated built at a cost of around Rs 4,100 crore
The 19 km long Haryana section of the 8-lane Dwarka Expressway has been built at a cost of around Rs 4,100 crore and includes two packages of 10.2 km long Delhi-Haryana Border to Basai Rail-over-Bridge (ROB) and 8.7 km long Basai ROB to Kherki Daula. It will also provide direct connectivity to the IGI Airport in Delhi and the Gurugram Bypass.

PM Modi to inaugurate, lay foundation stone of 112 National Highway Projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gurugram, Haryana and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 112 National Highway projects spread across the country worth about Rs One lakh crore on Monday. To help improve traffic flow and ease congestion between Delhi and Gurugram on NH-48, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Haryana section of the landmark Dwarka Expressway, the release said.
