The 31 year old Kirk was addressing a crowd when he was shot in the neck. So being terribly injured, he could not even lift himself up and collapsed onstage, after which he was rushed to a hospital where the doctors could not save him. The killer remains at large, a suspect was at one time taken into custody, but the FBI Director, Kash Patel, stated that this person was released and that the investigation continues.The killing struck like a thunderbolt in the country, and tributes started flowing for the louder than life MAGA personality who leaves behind a widow, Erika, and two young children.

"We could all be living in joy but so many decided to be victims and offended by everything. Even God. Because that’s what Charlie fought for.
